Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast from the US for more than 10 years. She was part of and was captain of both the US Olympic women's gymnastics team The Fierce Five (2012) and Final Five (2016). In the 2012 Olympics she won gold both on the floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze medal was awarded through using the balance bar. This made her an the only American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to win the most medals. Gold medals she took home during the Olympics in 2016 was the second consecutive gold medal for the US team. She was, along with teammate Gabby - the first Americans to be able to complete this accomplishment. In addition, she was awarded silver medals in the all-around individual event and in the floor workout. The three years that passed between the two Olympics her break was taken. Also, she has been a member two world championship gold teams. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice in the age of 2 and her most favorite sport is floor workouts. Aly contributes to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in honor of her departed grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation as a designer. The next goal she has is expanding her trademark collection of leotards. Fierce A novel, which she's writing, will be coming out in the year ahead.
